Foundations of critical thinking and its role in
writing well articulated, strong academic pieces.

Plagiarism and MLA format.

Common Fallacies and examples of fallacious
writing. (throughout the semester)

Preparing arguments: It’s All About the Prewriting.

Formal Papers. (prewriting and rough drafts will be
brought to class and worked on in class—failure to
have required materials will result in a 0 for the day
and an absence—you will not be allowed to attend
the course).
